"the marginalized ones". They are of African appearance, certainly
immigrants whose ancestors had arrived in Yemen already a long time ago. The
Al-Akhdam stand on the very
bottom of the social ladder, are socially segregated, and are mostly
confined to menial jobs in the country's major cities. They often were – and

of Yemen reports – News of Yemen berichtet: Saudi-led air strikes killed at
least 25 people, According to health records mostly
women and children during an air raid on Yemeni black community neighborhood
in the West of the capital Sanaa Yesterday night. Residents
had said that few explosions shook the neighborhood when Saudi jets directly
targeted the area. According to health source the number of dead could rise
while there are over 50 injured people with some still under the rubble. The Saudi regime has refused to be part in the ceasefire
that was announced by UN convoy to Yemen from 23.59 pm on Friday which would
last till the end of the holy month of Ramadan. The refusal of the Saudi came
from the Saudi-led coalition spokesperson Mr. Al-Asiri
in An interview with Saudi TV and News paper when asked about the UN backed
ceasefire, Mr. Al-Asiri said: “We are not
interested in a truce and will not abide by it, the
United Nations did not coordinate with us”. |
