behandelt werden All images

2015, journalists visited the hospital in Saada in
Yemen and found a desperate situation due to the continued Saudi led
coalition airstrikes and blockade. Children are suffering
from diseases whilst their families stand by helpless, unable to help. Some
children are born disfigured, while others are threatened to die due to a
shortage of medicine, because hospitals have exhausted most of their reserves
of medical supplies. In Saada, there are currently
40 children waiting to be treated. These children may die before medication
is available, as Saada is suffering from a shortage
of medicine, and lack of incubators and ICU facilities. Suffering children
are having to be transferred from hospitals in the
capital Sanaa, risking death by KSA bombardment during the journey. There are cases
of malnutrition and fainting, chest allergies and psychological disorders,
such as anxiety and bed-wetting are reported. Cases of suffocation from
poisonous gases, causing various diseases, and food poisoning are widespread.
They are the result of the thousands of missiles and cluster bombs, banned
chemicals, and other unknown ammunition. Many of these weapons cause a wide
range of side effects shown on patients’ bodies as well as on food,
agriculture and livestock. Food contamination has severe indirect effects on
infants, transferred via their mother’s milk. The health sector
in Saada is nearly non-existent,
the Saudi aggression has destroyed 90% of the hospitals, health centres, clinics, medicine warehouses, and doctors’
residences. Saudi blockades are also preventing the entrance of medicine,
medical supplies, and food. Doctors are appealing to the international
community for medical support. http://yemenwarcrimes.blogspot.co.uk/2015/10/21st-oct-2015-medical-situation-in.html
