Photos. Private http://news-in-ua.net/news/34538 Eight hours after the Minsk cease-fire agreement had been signed, in the night from Feb. 12 to Feb. 13, Gorlovka was heavily shelled. Artillery was firing the whole night, continuing in the morning. There were caused destructions in the whole city. Explosions were heard in the city every half hour. The city-market was severely hit. During the shelling, power lines were destroyed, the greatest part of the town had no electricity. Because of the blackout, also water supply and district heating stopped. In a residential building several persons were injured. A woman found her husband dead in the street. She had begged him not to leave the house. But he had insisted, as the elderly mother needed help and he wanted to go (see Ukraine 98). The greatest nightmare happened to parents who lost their three children by a strike into their house. Bathroom, kitchen and veranda were totally destroyed. Often, the family had hidden in the cellar. That day, all three children were in the bathroom, the two girls were bathing their younger brother to bring him to bed. Suddenly, the Ukrainians began to shell the eastern parts of the city. A granate directly hit the bathroom, which was totally destroyed. The walls and the roof of the bathroom collapsed. The parents were watching TV in a room at the other side of the house; they not even were injured. After the explosion, the father ran to the bathroom and found the dead bodies of his three children. On the table under the fragments of glass collection of fairy tales. The girls loved to read them at night to their younger brother. For the funeral the father picks up Kyrills most beloved toy, a teddy bear, and the mother takes Dasha’s favorite blue dress. They pick up some belongings from the destroyed house where they can stay no more, even more as this was the place where they lost theit kids… Nastya was in the 8. class, Dasha in the second. In social networks, Nastyas teacher posted an excerpt of an essay Nastya had written in school. Concerning the street where she lived, she had written: "My street is very beautiful. There are a lot of trees. In the summer there are growing beautiful flowers. Nearby is a children's playground. I wish that the war will end soon, and that my street is not affected." The burial of the children was on February, 14 – the last day before the begin of the cease-fire. Acht Stunden, nachdem das Minsk Waffenstillstandsabkommen unterzeichnet
war, in der Nacht vom 12. auf den 13. Februar, wurde Gorlowka heftig
bombardiert. Die Artillerie feuerte die ganze Nacht und noch bis in den
Morgen. Es gab Zerstörungen in der ganzen Stadt. Explosionen waren in der
Stadt jede halbe Stunde zu hören. Der Stadtmarkt wurde schwer getroffen.
Während der Bombardierung wurden Stromleitungen zerstört, der größte Teil der
Stadt hatte keinen Strom. Wegen des Stromausfalls fielen auch die
Wasserversorgung und die Versorgung mit Fernwärme aus. In einem Wohnhaus wurden mehrere Personen verletzt. Eine Frau fand ihren
Mann tot auf der Straße. Sie hatte ihn angefleht, das Haus nicht zu
verlassen. Aber er hatte darauf bestanden, da die alte Mutter Hilfe brauchte
und er gehen wollte (siehe Ukraine 98). Den größten Albtraum erlebten Eltern, die ihre drei Kinder durch einen
Treffer in ihr Haus verloren. Badezimmer, Küche und Veranda wurden völlig
zerstört. Oft hatte die Familie im Keller Schutz gesucht. An diesem Tag waren
alle drei Kinder im Bad, die beiden Mädchen badeten ihren kleinen Bruder, um
ihn ins Bett zu bringen. Plötzlich begannen die Ukrainer, die östlichen Teile
der Stadt zu beschießen. Eine Granate schlug direkt in das Dach über dem Bad
ein, das vollständig zerstört wurde. Das dach stürzte herunter, die Wände
fielen ein. Die Eltern saßen in diesem Moment vor dem Fernseher in einem Zimmer
auf der anderen Seite des Hauses; sie wurden nicht einmal verletzt. Nach der
Explosion rannte der Vater zum Bad und fand die Leichen seiner drei Kinder. Auf dem Tisch liegt unter den Glasscherben noch ein Märchenbuch. Die
Mädchen liebten es, sie am Abend ihrem kleinen Bruder vorzulesen. Für die
Beerdigung holt der Vater Kyrills Lieblingsspielzeug, einen Teddybär, und die
Mutter Dashas blaues Lieblingskleid. Die Eltern packen noch einige
Habseligkeiten zusammen, und dann verlassen sie das zerstörte Haus, in dem
sie nicht mehr bleiben können, auch deswegen, weil es der Ort ist, an dem sie
ihre Kinder verloren haben… Nastya war in der achten Klasse 8, Dasha in der zweiten. In sozialen
Netzwerken veröffentlichte Nastyas Lehrerin einen Auszug aus einem Aufsatz,
den Nastya in der Schule geschrieben hatte. Da hatte sie über die Straße, in
der sie lebte, geschrieben: „Meine Straße ist sehr schön Es gibt eine Menge
von Bäumen. Im Sommer wachsen viele schöne Blumen. In der Nähe ist ein
Kinderspielplatz. Ich wünsche, dass der Krieg bald zu Ende ist, und dass
meine Straße nicht getroffen wird.“ Die Beerdigung der Kinder war am 14.
Februar – der letzte Tag vor dem Beginn des Waffenstillstands.
